Thanks Ti-Noir for developing this game! I had a bit of a mixed experience. I thought the initial key was a bit hard to find (I somehow managed to knock it off the table without noticing, and it took some time to find it because the room was not the best lit). I also thought that the chair in the hallway blocking the basement door did not need to be there, since the door is locked anyway and the chair just got in the way. But I enjoyed being able to interact with the environment. (Not sure if was supposed to be able to explore outside but I got a good laugh out of it!) The basement definitely amped up the game's urgency. The monster noise was unsettling and you did a great job at making the chase sequences fair but still heart-pounding. Thank you again!
This was surprisingly intense! It was cool to try and figure out the strategy for getting the key in the basement. I only encountered 1 bug that forced me to restart, trying to pick up the key in the basement, I accidentally picked up the table it was on and the key was launched away. When I came back around to grab it, it would only let me pick it up like a regular object, and not "put it in my inventory" or wherever the key magically goes lol. Upon restart, I managed to get it to work by picking up the key directly on the table. Overall, a very fun experience! Great work!
Hiii Ti-Noir, thanks for making this game. Sadly I didn´t feel scared playing it and it was a bit disappointing that I couldn´t open the door when running away from the creatures. It was interesting how the basement was actually bigger than my house but it arouse another question, why did my family keep monsters in the basement?? Are those also part of my family?
I was not expecting the enemy to actually be that scary! I always love games that give you actual control and put it in your hands to decide if you get caught or not and not just let it be some walking simulator. It was short and spooky but it was disappointing that the door wouldn't open with the key though. I'm not sure if it was a bug if I'm just a big dum dum. Keep up the great work my man!
really like the game and style very spooky and also like how the monster pops around the map other than just following you around. it made it a lot harder to grab the key. I cant wait for more games from you!
Hello, I played this game and I really enjoyed it, it got really tensed near the end but I liked that I was able to keep my distance from them even though sometimes it feels like they're too close, that's a really good balance to keep the tension high, really fun little game, good work :)
R.L. Stine was right... stay out of the basement. That was a creepy game. I liked having to try and not knock the boxes over and make noise. Keep up the good work!
Actually for some reason he doesn't hear anything in the full packaged game, but I'm working on an update that will fix most glitches so I'll try to fix that.
Just played on the channel! Very scary atmosphere, that huge basement got me. But the enemy itself should be a little scarier. In my playthrough it just stood there, don't know if its a glitch, but i would've been more afraid if It did more. Nice game!
The game's fine and it was interesting enough. But for the size of the map, just having one boss made it feel empty. I would suggest having another monster boss in the basement imo.
Cool game! I like the way you can interact with pretty much anything and despite your warning I didn't experience any major bugs, I only found the monster once and he didn't noticed me so I walked around it and managed to finish in about 2:30 minutes. Also the basement is huuuuuge haha
This game is superb! The most fun I had with the playthrough - really hilarious and entertaining! Great Job! For more of my review, check out the video. P.S. I posted a comment minutes ago, but somehow it did not let me, so I deleted that comment and posted new one.
Really good work here! Concept was well done, interactions were fluid although a few were a tad buggy (see video), enemy was legitimately scary too! Would love to see more like this or even revisit after the jam and expand upon the game and story.

That was actually an Easter egg! And I'm pretty sure you were the first to find it.
Congrats! (:
Thank You!

Did you press E to open the door with the key? You actually might just not be close enough to the door to interact with it.
Yeah, it made the lock jiggle sound, but I realized post-editing it wasn't very loud in the video itself.
I'll need to fix that. But strangely not many people seemed to experience that glitch.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback.

Thanks! I'll definitely do more games!

That's definitely a glitch, but thanks anyway (:

A good game, but with some bugs, as you can see in the video. Not bad for a game jam. Congratulations.
